Word of Life Fellowship is located in the heart of St. Petersburg, Florida. As a local fellowship, WOL is a church where families learn the truth of God’s Word in a simple, easy-to-understand way, making it applicable for everyday living!

Our Vision

WOL’s vision is to open the minds of all people to the truth and reality of God’s Word. We aim to teach the truth of God’s Word in a simple, easy-to-understand format, making it applicable for everyday life. Our goal is to provide knowledge through teaching that fosters practical living and builds strong disciples.

WOL’s mission for new converts and members is to provide a platform for learning God’s Word in a way that equips disciples with the tools needed to build a secure foundation in Christ, within themselves, their families, and their communities through the knowledge of God’s Word.

Summarized, here at Word of Life Fellowship, we:

Leadership

Dr. Ellis R. Hodge, born and raised in Valdosta, Georgia, has always pursued excellence in both his personal and professional life. After faithfully serving four years in the U.S. Air Force, he later r re-enlisted as a Reservist until his retirement in 1994. He was also employed by GTE (Verizon) for more than 25 years.

In 1990, Dr. Hodge was called to preach and, in 1998, founded Word of Life Fellowship Church in St. Petersburg, Florida. His mission is to transform lives by teaching God’s word in a practical and impactful way.
